Like every year, rumors on the net about the possible Call of Duty of the year are not long in coming, given that - as we all know - the saga does not take any break thanks to the three development studies ready to cure it, and therefore makes a new debut annually. It seemed this year was the turn of Call of Duty Black Ops 5, for the hand of Treyarch, but apparently it won't. In fact, for the latest rumors, a chapter in the saga of Black Ops, which, however, will be expanded this time by a spin-off and will not follow the canonical numbering that has distinguished it for several years.
According to the roadmap followed by the publisher of the entire saga, Activision, this year would be the turn of SledgeHammer GAMES, but there are many rumors that see it in clear difficulty in creating the next title, which could also land on the next generation. This is probably why Treyarch will step forward by proposing a title with his own hands.
