Bungie, after having managed to "break free" from Activision, recently admitted that he has been working on various titles for quite some time. This is certainly not a secret, given that the development team has repeatedly stated that it wants to publish a title unrelated to the Destiny saga within the 2025. During a recent interview with Metro, the CEO of Bungie Pete parsons he told some details about the projects currently in the pipeline:
We started working on new projects about three years ago. Jason Jones, Jonny Ebbert, Zach Russell and others of us have started working on these new projects. In fact, ironically, we were expecting a very high failure rate from these jobs but we are pretty excited about what is being done every day. We don't just want to continue the Destiny universe, because we have such a huge number of talents in our hands and these new projects look really amazing right now.
Parsons, however, did not go into too much detail of these projects currently in progress, adding only the following:
I think you will be quite excited. I wish I could say more, but I think you will get excited a lot.
As for the latest news on Destiny 2? The Trials of Osiris of Destiny 2 have been postponed once again due to some technical issues. Bungie announced via Twitter that the multiplayer event would not run as previously scheduled, thereby disabling that event for the week. In the aforementioned tweet he also stated that Bungie was not yet sure when the Trials of Osiris would return, as it is still investigating the root cause of the problem.
