In the last few hours, an incredible news has arrived: Bungie and Activision have officially separated and, to explain it, it is the software house, which also announces that it has kept the rights on Destiny.
We have enjoyed a successful eight-year run and would like to thank Activision for their partnership on Destiny. Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce plans for Activision to transfer the publishing rights for Destiny to Bungie. With our exceptional Destiny community, we are ready to publish by yourself, while Activision will increase its focus on the projects and IPs it owns. The planned transition process is already underway in its early stages, with Bungie and Activision both busy making sure it's as smooth as possible.
