Bounty Law: Tarantino to direct the TV series Western!

Bounty Law: Tarantino to direct the TV series Western!

A few months ago, during an interview with Deadline, Quentin Tarantino he had revealed that he intended to produce a TV series, specifically to make that fictional western serial called a reality Bounty Law appeared in his latest film Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood.

Looking at several old western series, I created Bounty Law. I ended up liking the idea of Jake Cahill as a character. I really started to love these half-hour scripts of 50s westerns. The idea of being able to write 24 minutes in which the story is compressed, has a beginning, a development and an end, captured me. It was fun because you don't have to go deeper, in fact, at some point you have to quit. I really liked the idea. I wrote five different episodes for a possible half-hour black and white western show called Bounty Law. […] I'm not planning anything at the moment, but I have an outline for three more episodes that I will probably write and then try to make them happen. I'll direct each episode.

Well, a few days ago Tarantino returned to talk about the show, revealing a Deadline that this project, barring unforeseen circumstances, could really become a reality, adding however that it will take a long time before production can begin:

Bounty Law? I want to do it, but it will take a year and a half. He had an introduction in Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood, but I don't really consider him part of that movie, even if he is. It's not about Rick Dalton as Jake Cahill. This is Jake Cahill. I ended up watching stuff like Wanted, Dead or Alive, The Rifleman and Tales of Wells Fargo, these half hour series, to get into the Bounty Law mindset and understand the kind of show Rick was on. I liked them before, but now I'm really hooked on them. […] I thought and asked myself: can I do it? And I ended up writing five half-hour episodes. So I'll do it, direct all the episodes myself.

Bounty Law, barring unforeseen circumstances, it will be entirely directed by Quentin Tarantino, who plans to shoot the series on film. It is not the first time that the good Tarantino participates in television projects, having already directed two episodes of CSI is one of ER - Doctors on the front line.

The question everyone is asking now is: will we review Leonardo DiCaprio in the role of Rick Dalton… in the role of Jake Cahill? We just have to wait for more details!
