Black Adam: release date revealed (and it's not close)

Through the profile Instagram film officer, Warner Bros. Pictures e New line cinema have announced the release date of Black Adam. The film will be available starting July 29, 2022. The film was originally supposed to be released around Christmas 2021, but has been postponed due to the pandemic. Filming should resume in a few days. We will therefore have to wait a long time before we can see the anti-hero DC in action outside the comic.

For now the plot of the film has not yet been revealed, we do not know if they will come telling the origins of the character or if we will follow him already in the height of his career. Black Adam is an Egyptian who got powers from Shazam Wizard, becoming one of the hero's best known enemies Shazam and Marvel family. Among his powers we include flight, in weather control, black magic and electricity. The character was later rewritten as an anti-hero who solves issues in his own way.

The protagonist will be played by Dwayne Johnosn (known to most as The Rock). Among the number of characters present we mention Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Adriana Tomaz / Isis (Sarah Shahi), Cartel Call / Hawkman (Aldis Hodge) is Al Rothstei / Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo). The release of Black Adam allows the former wrestler to debut in the world of cinecomics, which in the meantime has become one of Holywood's highest paid actors.

The film will be part of the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) and the same universe as Shazam!. The direction is by Jaume Collet-Serra and among the producers there is Hiram Garcia. About the branded film DC, we remind you that it has recently been published Zack Snyder's Justice League, and is watching the movie on the Justice League of the director Zack Snyder, the one who was originally supposed to direct the film but left due to the death of his daughter.
