BioShock 4: Job advertisements hint at a new setting

BioShock 4: Job advertisements hint at a new setting

Although many have not yet realized it, 7 years have passed since BioShock Infinite (the last original episode of the series). To console us are some job advertisements published, which leave us some clues about the new chapter coming. To date we have no particular information, but we know that the software house that is developing the title is Cloud Chamber. It is a study specially formed by 2K Games for the creation of BioShock 4. Among the requests, published in the name of the company, we can find some really interesting ones.

From what has come up, è clear that they are already working on the new title and that, if we are lucky, we will soon be able to get more information. According to what has come out so far, it would seem that the house wants to "give life to a new and fantastic world". We can therefore imagine that the new adventure will not be set either in Rapture (as in BioShock 1 e BioShock 2) or in Columbia (main setting of BioShock Infinite), but in a whole new universe. A nice note coming out of the ads is the request for an artist similar to Wes Anderson per quanto riguarda precision and brio in the positioning and movements of the camera. A bit unusual given the kind of title fans expect.

The latest information released is that the Unreal Engine 4 (patented by Epic Games) will be used for the development of BioShock 4. It is also true that, according to rough calculations, the release of the game is still a long way off. It is therefore not excluded that before the end of the works they could pass to the new generation (Unreal Engine 5). We just have to wait and hope that new information will be revealed soon. In the meantime, stay tuned for all updates on this and other upcoming titles. We, as usual, will not fail to keep you constantly updated on our pages.
