Biomutant: Developers explain the reasons behind the long silence

The next one is coming 25 Maggio 2021, Biomutant will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One e PC after a long wait since the announcement lasted almost three years, in which the developers of experiment 101 they provided information with the dropper on their work. Despite the fact that a lot of information about the gameplay and the story had progressively leaked, the launch date has long been a mystery. The developers, however, were keen to clarify in an interview with IGN that the time spent in silence was useful for groups and teams composed of just twenty people, to work best on the product and to perfect it especially in terms of technical cleaning and the resolution of game bugs.

According to a Stefan Ljungqvist, man at the head of the small group, the team is well aware of not being able to create a product totally free of bugs or system errors, like many other games with far more expensive investments in terms of personnel, but confirms that all members are committed to releasing the product to players in the "best possible state" on launch day. Ljungqvist mainly refers to the bug fix that could seriously affect the gaming experience, and in a context such as that of a open world sand box so ambitious, no wonder how extremely complicated it can be to manage it all with such a small group of developers.

Biomutant is in fact, a Open world RPG post-apocalyptic, which the developers say has grown dramatically during development. One of the examples presented in the interview is the load of interactions and lines of dialogue that is increased by 80-85.000 words expected at the beginning ad even 250.000 at the end of the project. The possible interactions with the environment and especially with the NPCs have also been increased, and a sort of system has been added Karma localization in 10 languages with an additional 3 subtitled languages and also a more in-depth system of tutorial. In short, it seems that Experiment 101 is working hard on the product funded by THQ Nordic, arriving in stores in just four months.
