Astro's Playroom: new details revealed on the exclusive title of PlayStation 5

Missing less and less on arrival in the shops of PlayStation 5 and if on the one hand we know many details now about the new console Sony, on the other hand, some details still remain in the mystery regarding the software equipment of the console which, surprisingly, will be equipped with a game pre-installed already at the time of launch, called Astro's Playroom. The title, developed by ASOBI Team (division of SIE Japan Studio) and presented last June, is a 3D platform that has the same robot as the main protagonist Astrobot: A Rescue Mission, game created for the viewer PlayStation VR which has garnered some success. In an interview with the well-known Japanese magazine Famitsu, the developers of Japan Studio wanted to disclose some information relating to the game, until now partly shrouded in mystery.

The title, also designed to exploit the peculiarities of DualSense controller of PlayStation 5, will offer a gaming experience of the duration of about 4 hours, which may continue in the event that players go in search of all the hidden references related to the history of PlayStation. Such freebies will be present in the form of puzzle, collectibles and other items who will celebrate the 25 years of Sony's gaming platform. Whoever manages to get all these items will receive one special surprise that the Japan Studio team did not want to reveal.

Furthermore, the names of four of the present worlds have been revealed, viz Cooling Resort, Jungle GPU, Speedway SSD e Memory Sky. There will also be a modality time-attack and online ranking. Unfortunately, the development team did not want to reveal further details about the game so we just have to wait for new announcements about Astro's Playroom in the coming weeks or find out everything starting from 19st November, which is the date on which PlayStation 5 will be available in stores.
