The collector's editions of videogame titles have always attracted the attention of players thanks to the presence not only of the physical copy of the game but also of a rich series of additional contents that include - usually - action figure, steelbook e bonus to be used directly within the software. Presented last April 30 with a trailer capable of immediately attracting the attention of those who have never tried one of the previous chapters of the series, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is no exception and will also be available with a very rich one Collector's Edition equipped with a multitude of collectibles, including one statuette of the protagonist Eivor, a set of lithographs exclusive, the colonna sonora original and a statue depicting thefemale alter-ego of Eivor and his Drakkar, or the classic ship belonging to the Viking civilization. Despite all these rare objects present inside the exclusive package, users Xbox they may be disappointed as it will not be possible for them to have it as well physical copy of the game.
To reveal it is directly the page dedicated to the game in the Ubisoft store. When ordering the game, the screen that will be shown (and which we report below) will inform the user that, following a change made by Ubisoft itself, the Xbox Collector's Edition will only contain the digital copy of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, downloadable on your console Xbox One o Xbox Series X through a code that will be sent by e-mail.
The reasons that led Ubisoft to insert the digital edition of the game only on Xbox are not known at the moment, considering that the same Collector's Edition on PlayStation 4 it will be regularly provided with the physical copy, as initially foreseen also on the Microsoft software platform. Waiting for new information, we remind you that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC the next 17st November, to then be released later also on the next generation consoles.
