The pounding promotional campaign carried out by the French software house has certainly removed many veils from the structure and plot of the game, which revolves around the figure of Eivor, one of the Nordic invaders who attacked England's King Alfred the Great. The game is an open-world third-person title with a strong role-playing component that, taking up several classic mechanics of the series, will allow you to approach the action in several different ways. This aspect, in addition to being visible in various gameplay that has emerged in recent weeks, is also highlighted by a video posted by YouTuber Shirrako which shows, without spoiling, the unfolding of a boss fight.
As you can see from the video at the top of the article, our character will be able to count on a good number of combos, to be performed by holding melee weapons like axes. The attacks of the boss can be dodged instead through some movements that resume those already seen in other chapters of the series or in other titles with an apparently similar combat system such as, for example, the various Dark Souls. This series of movements, if anticipated in the right way, can allow you to overcome the enemy's defenses and deliver one or more hits in series.
