Among Us: the developers discuss a possible console port

Among Us of the developer InnerSloth - as we well know - it has already been released for PC, Android e iOS in 2018, however, has really caught on lately in the wake of party games that have become extremely popular on platforms such as Twitch. The question on everyone's mind right now seems to be whether Among Us will ever make the leap to console, but it looks like it won't be particularly easy to do. According to InnerSloth programmer and co-founder Forest willard, who recently played the video game with a group of streamers, part of the problem for a console port it would be the implementation of the voice chat:

We should write a system for fast communications. Basically it would be intended for randoms, like on Rocket League. I don't know if we would be able to implement console voice chat or not. The first thing we would like to add is an account system, maybe with a friends list because it would be really hard to do anything without that.

Among Us, for the uninitiated, consists of a video game from 4 to 10 players in which everyone tries to prepare a spaceship for departure, however there are impostors among the crew trying to kill everyone else. The rest of the group is tasked with preparing the ship and expelling the impostors before it's too late. In addition to this, we invite all our players to consult our guide, dedicated entirely to those who want to create one custom match within the game in question!
