    AMD announces the Radeon 7 at CES 2019

    AMD announced to the CES 2019 Las Vegas graphics card Radeon 7 at 7nm, in response to Nvidia's high-end (10 series and 20 series).

    Compared to Vega 64, the new Radeon should guarantee between 25% and 40% higher frame-rate in resolution 4K. AMD has stated that the Radeon 7 will be able to offer a slightly higher frame-rate than RTX 2080 in DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 titles. On the other hand, very high performance for games that support Vulkan.



    The Radeon 7 model shown at CES 2019 boasts 16 GB of HBM2 memory with the bandwidth equal to 1 TB / s. L'RTX 2080 can rely on alone 8 GB of memory (GDDR6), with bandwidth equal to 448 GB / s. Nvidia's top range, theRTX 2080 Ti, instead offers up to 11 GB (616 GB / s bandwidth).



    Radeon 7 will debut on the market from the next 7 February at the cost of dollars 700 in the United States (all other prices have yet to be officially disclosed). Graphics cards will be sold with (your choice): Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 2 Remake (Capcom) and TheDivision2 by Ubisoft.
