    The 22 Maggio 2019 the new movie DisneyAladdin, a live action reinterpretation of the famous Disney animated classic from 1992.

    Directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Operation UNCLE) and written by John August (Dark Shadows, Big Fish - Stories of an Incredible Life), the film stars Will Smith (Ali, Men in Black) as the Genius with the power to grant three wishes for anyone who comes into possession of his magic lamp. Mena Massoud (Jack Ryan) is Aladdin, the hapless but adorable street boy in love with the Sultan's beautiful daughter, Princess Jasmine, played by Naomi Scott (Power Rangers), who wants to freely choose how to live her life. Marwan Kenzari (Murder on the Orient Express) is Jafar, an evil sorcerer who devises a diabolical plan to overthrow the Sultan and reign over Agrabah; while Navid Negahban (Homeland: Spy Hunt) plays the Sultan, the ruler of Agrabah, eager to find a suitable husband for his daughter Jasmine. The Aladdin cast also includes Nasim Pedrad (Saturday Night Live), Billy Magnussen (Into the Woods) and Numan Acar (Homeland: Spy Hunt).



    The film is produced by Lin Dan (The LEGO Movie), while the winner of the Golden Globe® Marc Platt (La La Land), Jonathan Eirich (Deathnote) e Kevin De La Noy (The Dark Knight Rises) are the executive producers. The score is composed of the eight-time Academy Award® winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and includes new versions of the original songs written by Menken and Oscar®-winning authors Howard Ashman (The Little Shop of Horrors) and Tim Rice (The Lion King), as well as two unreleased tracks made by Menken himself and by Oscar® and Tony® Award winning composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, Dear Evan Hansen).
